These sandals, found in 1936 in Fort Rock Cave, were covered by ash from the Mt. Mazama (Crater Lake) eruption 7,000 years ago.
In an attempt to reach a broader base of family and friends who might be interested in our journeys, we decided to use the Internet. It seemed more logical to inform folks that they could choose to read about our adventures by going online, instead of e-mailing numerous people with embedded images.
