In the opposite direction from the photo above, Roy was able to begin a descent into the deep fissure, which is approximately two miles long and up to 70 feet deep.
In an attempt to reach a broader base of family and friends who might be interested in our journeys, we decided to use the Internet. It seemed more logical to inform folks that they could choose to read about our adventures by going online, instead of e-mailing numerous people with embedded images.
